1. RETURN WINDOW
You may request a return within 30 days from the date of delivery (not the order date).

To be eligible for a return:
• Item must be unused and in the same condition you received it
• Item must be in original packaging with all accessories, manuals, and parts
• Item must not show signs of assembly, installation, or use

2. NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
All items sold on our website are eligible for return within the 30-day window, provided they meet the conditions in section 1.

Items that have been assembled, installed, used, damaged by the customer, or are missing parts/packaging may not be eligible for return or may be subject to a partial refund.

3. HOW TO INITIATE A RETURN
To start a return:

Step 1: Contact us within 30 days of delivery

• Include: Order number, item(s) to return, and reason for return

Step 2: Wait for return authorization
We will review your request and respond within 1-2 business days with:
• Return authorization (if approved)
• Return shipping instructions
• Return address

Step 3: Ship the item back
• Pack the item securely in original packaging
• Include all accessories, manuals, and parts
• Use a trackable shipping method
• Keep your tracking number for your records

Do not ship items back without contacting us first. Unauthorized returns may not be processed.

4. RETURN SHIPPING COSTS
Who pays for return shipping depends on the reason for the return:

Standard Returns (change of mind, no longer needed, ordered wrong item):
• Customer is responsible for return shipping costs
• Typical return shipping costs: $15-$45 depending on item size, weight, and destination
• We recommend using a trackable shipping service (USPS, UPS, or FedEx)
• Original shipping fees (if paid) are non-refundable for standard returns

Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items:
• We provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you
• Original shipping fees (if paid) will be refunded
• You must report the issue within 48 hours of delivery (see section 9)

5. RESTOCKING FEES
We do NOT charge restocking fees on any returns.

6. REFUND PROCESSING TIMELINE
Once we receive your returned item:

Day 1-3: Return received and inspected (2-3 business days)
• We verify the item meets return conditions
• You will receive an email confirming receipt

Day 4-13: Refund processed (within 10 business days after approval)
• Refund is issued to your original payment method
• You will receive an email confirmation with refund details

Day 14-23: Refund appears in your account (5-10 business days)
• Timeframe depends on your bank or credit card issuer
• Contact your bank if you don't see the refund after 10 business days

Total timeframe: Approximately 17-23 business days from when we receive your return to when the refund appears in your account.

7. REFUND METHOD
Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase:
• Credit card refunds: Credited to the same card
• Debit card refunds: Credited to the same card
• PayPal refunds: Credited to your PayPal account (if applicable)

We cannot issue refunds to a different payment method or card.

8. PARTIAL REFUNDS
A partial refund may be issued if:
• Item shows signs of use, assembly, or installation
• Item is returned without original packaging
• Item is missing parts, accessories, or manuals
• Item is damaged due to customer mishandling (not shipping damage)

We will contact you before processing a partial refund to explain the deduction and give you the option to have the item returned to you instead.

9. DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE, OR INCORRECT ITEMS
If you received a damaged, defective, or incorrect item:

• Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
• Email info@linchhome.com with:
  - Your order number
  - Description of the issue
  - Clear photos of the item, defect, and packaging

We will review your case and provide one of the following resolutions:
• Full replacement at no charge (including free return shipping)
• Replacement parts for minor damage
• Full refund including original shipping costs and return shipping
• Store credit for future purchase

For these issues, you do NOT pay return shipping. We will provide a prepaid return label if a return is necessary.

10. EXCHANGES
We do not offer direct exchanges at this time.

If you need a different size, color, or item:
1. Return the original item following this policy
2. Place a new order for the item you want

This ensures you receive the new item as quickly as possible without waiting for the return to be processed.

11. LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS
If you have not received your refund after 23 business days:

1. Check your bank account or credit card statement again
2. Contact your bank or credit card company (processing can take time)
3. Contact your credit card issuer (there may be processing delays)
4. If you've done all of this and still have not received your refund, contact us at info@linchhome.com

12. FINAL SALE ITEMS
Currently, we do not have any final sale or non-returnable items. All items are eligible for return within 30 days of delivery, subject to the conditions in this policy.

If we introduce final sale items in the future, they will be clearly marked as "Final Sale - No Returns" on the product page before purchase.
